Zabola Estate is the Mikes family's estate at Zăbala, in the family for over 600 years; a castle park of about 50 hectares sits within more than 500 hectares of forest and land. Guests stay in the New Castle, the Machine House, the Old Saddle House, the Garden House and the New Yard; there is a restaurant, spa and hunting lodge. Activities include riding, bear-watching from a forest hide and estate tours.
