Families have their own pool and a 70-metre waterslide. Guests aged 16 and over have a separate spa. Outside, a swimming lake sits below the Leoganger Steinberge. Forsthofgut is in Hütten, a hamlet about four kilometres from the centre of Leogang, at 850 m. It is a large five-star resort with a 30,000 m² garden; hiking trails start at the door, and in winter the ski lift is under two minutes away.
The 5,700 m² waldSPA is split in two: the adults-only area has a 25-metre infinity pool and saunas, the family area an indoor pool, the slide and a children's sauna. Out in the garden, the swimming lake wraps around the Seehaus with its lake pool, and an onsen pool sits beside it.

Forsthofgut is first recorded in 1617, as a farming and forestry estate that housed forest workers.
The whole hotelIn summer, hiking trails start at the hotel and the Asitz gondola climbs to 1,762 m. In winter you ski from the ski room straight onto the slopes of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn; the valley station is under two minutes away.

The swimming lake is the centrepiece of the 30,000 m² garden, lined with loungers and small islands for lying out. It wraps around the Seehaus, which holds the 33 °C lake pool and a Finnish lake sauna with a large window facing the Leoganger Steinberge, and around the 42 °C onsen pool. Guests swim in the lake from spring into autumn; in winter it serves as a cold plunge after the sauna. Bars and lounges often overlooking the greenery, relaxed and open.

Huwi's Alm
Renate and Huwi Oberlader's inn up in the Priesteregg mountain village: stone-oven bread, bacon from their own smokehouse, Kasnocken, spare ribs and the “hat dinner”, where you grill the meat yourself on a hot iron hat at the table. In summer the tables move out into the garden, looking across the valley.

Der Kirchenwirt seit 1326
The inn beside the village church turns 700 in 2026 and is run today by siblings Barbara Kottke and Hans-Jörg Unterrainer. In the vaulted rooms you choose between the “Alpen Gestalten” menu, built on produce from across the Alps, and classic inn dishes from the à la carte list, with a long wine list from the cellar below.

Eva and Alexander Rainer sell cheese, farmhouse bread, speck and organic vegetables from farms around the valley; in the café at the back they serve breakfast, cold-cut boards, homemade cake and organic coffee.
