Chesa Marchetta
A 16th-century Engadin house in the village that Nietzsche chose.

Hidden within the cobbled streets of Zuoz, Chesa Marchetta combines seven centuries of Engadin history with a quietly contemporary spirit. Thick stone walls, thoughtful design and the rhythm of village life create a stay that feels less like a hotel and more like a home in the Alps.
A genuine 16th-century Engadin Chesa in Sils Maria — one of the few original village houses operating as a hotel, with its own seasonal restaurant open to non-guests.
This house is listed, not in the register. We have not yet written its four decisions.
