The Brecon has stood in Adelboden since 1914 — a building you can easily miss if you don't know where to look. On a slope above the village, surrounded by pine forests and the panorama of the Bernese Oberland, sits one of the most quietly distinctive hotels in the Swiss Alps: compact, adults-only, all-inclusive. The building was reimagined by Amsterdam studio Nicemakers and furnished with restraint — timber, stone, leather, wool. No conference rooms, no children's pools, no entertainment programme. Instead: 18 rooms and 4 suites, a guests-only spa, dinner every evening, afternoon tea, and all of it included — right down to the minibar and the wines at dinner.
All-inclusive here doesn't mean buffet stress — it means à la carte breakfast, afternoon tea, a multi-course dinner, cocktails, wines, and a stocked minibar. Adults only (18+), guests-exclusive spa. You pay once and live.
